Hello World, Hello Quillet

First post of my newsletter, only fitting that it's about the actualy newsletter engine.

I've seen a glaring lack in the public space, one that I've tried to solve by defining a new service.

That service is: Quillet

Flask newsletter + microblog package. Three deployment modes, pluggable backends, minimal deps.

I'm going to be working on it still, I haven't quite tested through the super-simple Docker setup. That'll be worth its own article once it's baked. But before that, I'll trial run it here. No better way, eh?

The short selling point: you own your data, you run it yourself. Free, quick, painless. And in the age of LLMs... trivial to set up.

I'll be writing more on it, for sure.
