Reading

I love to read a good book. Exact genres don't matter that much, although I'm partial to Fantasy and Sci-fi as far as fiction goes.

In that vein, some of my favourite writtes are Sir Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie and Josiah Bancroft.

Discworld is a great world of parody, a version of our world into which I descend when I need assurance that no, I am not the only one who finds reality quite absurd at times. Small Gods is a definite must read, and a solid entry point into this universe.

Wheel of Time speaks for itself, a world mastecrafted throughout its vast story over 14 tomes. Many different themes cycle through this series, which borrows and explores themes of several philosophies and peoples quite intimately. The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.

There's plenty other books I'd mention, and maybe I will write of them some other time, but for now this'll have to do.
